Medley Hall is the smallest residential college affiliated with the University of Melbourne.

History Edit

Medley Hall was established in 1954. During July 2009 and June 2011, it was closed due to a building development. It reopened in July 2011.

Architecture Edit

The original building was designed with an Italian Victorian Baroque style by Walter Scott Law. All construction materials and craftsmen were imported from Italy. This includes stained glass and over 15 tonnes of marble and steel.

Facilities Edit

Medley Hall is the smallest of the residential colleges. It has a newly equipped laundry room with four washing machines with two dryers, a lounge room with a grand piano, a music room, bike shed with table tennis tables, fully equipped kitchen with lounge area, kitchenettes and a dining area on each of the three floors.
